Poor Tax Collection
Tax is a portion of our income which is paid to the government so that the government uses that portion to spend on the welfare of the people in the form of the services for the betterment of the people of the country. India although being a developinh nation does not follow a good tax collection system which actually has made the situation of India worse and it is getting worsen day by day in this period of immense problems.
There is loss from 3.8% to 4.4% in the government's total revenue and fiscal defecit in this period of submerging economy despite heavy and full-cap taxes collected by the Income Tax department last year from the hard-earned money of the miiddle-class people of the country. Economists of the country believe that in order to properly satisfy the country's needs and prevent any further damage the tax collection systems need to be changed as they are really poor in nature with bad implications.
- Inevident interest rates charged
- Improper way of taxing by way of discrimanation between rich and poor
- Corruption among the income tax officers looting and bribing the poor
- Uncertain cases of Extortions and Hawala in the name of the government's finance department
- Income tax slabs collection unjustified in nature
- Unusual taxes collected from poorer and middle class making the rich more rich and poor along with middle class poorer day by day
- Uneven taxes collected from the people even after implementation of long tenure of Goods and Service Tax implementaion
